WE Act: Empowering Young Women Entrepreneurs in Cambodia
This Pact-led project supported young women entrepreneurs in Cambodia to strengthen their skills, business linkages, and participation with relevant associations. The project focused on urban-based micro, small, and medium businesses owned by young women, ages 18 to 30. The project worked to address key challenges to their businesses through capacity development, network expansion, information sharing, access to finance and markets, and more. In partnership with existing actors in the entrepreneur system, the project supported them to better serve the needs of young women entrepreneurs. The project also worked to reduce economic barriers in Cambodia and stimulate women's participation in decision-making processes.
