Tanzania Early Childhood Development

This project is designed to complement the interventions taking place under the Pact-led ACHIEVE project in Tanzania. The Tanzania Early Childhood Development project is embedding complementary early childhood development services into home visits by community and government case workers. This includes an emphasis on age-appropriate, play-based communication, early learning, and stimulation, as well as on nutritional assessment and supplementation, improved infant and young child feeding practices, vaccination, and birth registration. The project includes three local partners, Tumaini Community Services Organization, Action for Development Program, and Inland Development Tanzania.
