With funding from the African Development Bank, Pact worked to fight HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, and tuberculosis by providing training and information to communities on prevention, raising awareness, and empowering women, as well as promoting best practice and developing capacity of organizations, institutions, and village committees.
