CSM-STAND program for Asia, Europe and Eurasia, and Latin America and the Caribbean
This regional program is supporting the design and implementation of civil society and media support programs across Asia, Europe and Eurasia, and Latin America and the Caribbean, and advancing U.S. leadership in international civil society movements. Through CSM-STAND, Pact, IREX and our partners are working closely with USAID Missions, Regional Bureaus, and Independent Offices to strengthen civil society and media’s capacities to represent citizen interests and hold governments accountable through advocacy, oversight, and outreach. We are strengthening local, regional, and cross-regional approaches that foster independent civic forces, enhance civic engagement, and build vibrant, resilient, and self-reliant civil society and media sectors.
